Come Visit Our Quinta da Castanheira

Where you will discover our vineyards, the unique terroir, and the manual process behind every bottle.

After the harvest, we will visit our historic 1907 winery and finish with a guided tasting of 1000 Curvas wines.

For those who wish, the experience extends with a traditional lunch at the estate’s café, all together, family, team, and visitors, in a true celebration of the harvest.

Our History

The 1000Curvas wine was conceived by Armando Soares, in partnership with his son Rodrigo Soares and the oenologist Pedro Mota.

The idea for the project emerged during a revitalization of Quinta da Castanheira, an estate located in the municipality of Baião, Northern Portugal.
